Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage units
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Operate refrigeration equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with remote logistics teams for shipment coordination
- Maintain detailed logs of temperature and inventory movements
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with remote work tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.)
