Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage zones using IoT sensors and HVAC systems
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated inventory management systems in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Perform inventory audits using barcode scanners and WMS software, with remote access to digital records
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics teams via remote communication platforms while handling physical product receiving and dispatching
- Execute sanitation protocols and HACCP compliance procedures in temperature-controlled environments
- Complete digital shift reports and safety documentation through remote portal systems
- Participate in remote training sessions for new refrigeration technologies and warehouse automation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience with exposure to refrigerated environments
- OSHA Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Proficiency with digital tools for remote reporting (MS Office Suite, WMS software)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods with appropriate PPE
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in logistics preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues remotely
- Valid driver's license with clean record for occasional local transport duties
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
