Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and monitor temperature/humidity controls
- Load/unload perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain inventory records and implement FIFO rotation methods
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and HACCP protocols
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality checks
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient product distribution
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Valid driver's license with clean record
