Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage environments (0-40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain inventory accuracy
- Monitor temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Sanitize work areas and equipment following FDA guidelines
- Collaborate with team to meet daily productivity targets
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to facility
- Ability to work in cold environments for 8+ hours
