Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions using IoT sensors
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive shipments with precision handling
- Conduct daily inventory audits using our proprietary digital system
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with remote logistics team for shipment coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic records via tablet interfaces
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Experience working in cold storage or warehouse environments
- Basic computer literacy for digital inventory systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in extreme temperatures
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Comfortable with remote communication tools (Slack, Teams)
