Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones using IoT monitoring systems
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks with precision using electric pallet jacks and forklifts
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and conduct cycle counts with digital scanning tools
- Operate automated cold storage systems (AS/RS) and WMS interfaces remotely
- Comply with FDA/USDA safety standards and HACCP protocols
- Coordinate with remote dispatch team for real-time inventory tracking
- Perform preventive maintenance on cold storage equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for 4-6 hour shifts
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle WMS)
- Basic HVAC/R troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
