Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain optimal temperatures in -10°F to 45°F environments
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts in refrigerated zones
- Operate cold storage equipment including dock seals and refrigeration units
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing environments for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
