Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stock merchandise in the cold storage facility while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with federal and state food safety regulations.
- Perform daily inventory counts and manage stock rotation to prevent spoilage and waste.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (0°F to 40°F) for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data and operating warehouse management systems.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
