Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and sanitize storage facilities per FDA and HACCP guidelines
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with proper handling techniques
- Monitor refrigeration equipment and report malfunctions immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality record
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate gear
