Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal cold storage conditions (-20°F to 36°F) through proper door management and equipment monitoring
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and document discrepancies in our WMS system
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on refrigeration units
- Collaborate with quality control team on product rotation
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment training
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability
- OSHA 10 certification a plus
- Pass background check and drug screening
