Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 30°F)
- Inspect and pack products according to HACCP standards
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform sanitation duties to maintain FDA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Forklift certification a plus (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
