Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in temperature-controlled zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment following OSHA safety standards
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and temperature compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize work areas and equipment following HACCP protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Monitor storage conditions and report equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays (12-hour shifts available)
- Valid NJ driver's license (for equipment operation)
