Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments onto and off of trucks, utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform accurate picking, packing, and staging of inventory to ensure stock levels match system records.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for eager learners.
