Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated facilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Manage inventory rotation and FIFO compliance systems
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods and documentation
- Operate cold storage equipment (pallet jacks, cryogenic tools)
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Sanitize work areas and equipment per food safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
