Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products while maintaining chain-of-custody protocols
- Monitor and document inventory levels using warehouse management systems
- Conduct quality control checks on perishable goods upon receipt
- Maintain sanitation standards including sanitation logs and equipment cleaning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA compliance for cold storage facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
