Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize temperature-sensitive inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety and HACCP protocols
- Monitor and document warehouse temperature conditions hourly
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
