Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect, and organize refrigerated shipments in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment to move and store products efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and conduct cycle counts
- Enforce strict safety protocols including PPE usage and HACCP compliance
- Monitor temperature/humidity levels and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Prepare products for loading and ensure proper labeling documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-zero/freezer environments
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in varying temperature zones
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
