Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated/frozen products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring in -10°F to 45°F zones
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation with barcode scanning systems
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and preventive maintenance
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA compliance protocols
- Operate automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS)
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless dock operations
- Document inventory movements in WMS software
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy and inventory system experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills a plus
