Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and store perishable goods according to HACCP standards
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks and dock operations
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
