Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable goods
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely in refrigerated environments
- Conduct quality control inspections and inventory management
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Load/unload shipments efficiently while minimizing temperature exposure
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
