Responsibilities
- Safely unload, inspect, and store temperature-sensitive products in refrigerated environments (32°F-45°F)
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to maintain efficient warehouse flow
- Maintain precise inventory records using our WMS system with 99.8% accuracy
- Monitor and document storage conditions to comply with FDA and HACCP standards
- Perform routine sanitation and pest control procedures in storage zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-45°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety protocols
