Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment for optimal performance
- Monitor temperature controls and report deviations promptly
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks following strict FIFO protocols
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety standards at all times
- Complete inventory checks and documentation accurately
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
