Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage facilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in freezers/coolers
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment with OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Assist with inventory management using barcode scanning systems
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Follow HACCP protocols for food safety in cold environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
