Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-20°F to 45°F) using advanced monitoring systems
- Inspect, unload, and organize incoming refrigerated shipments following FIFO protocols
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in confined cold environments
- Conduct quality control checks on perishable inventory
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Document inventory movements using digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred)
- Physical stamina to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
