Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and freezer units
- Inspect and operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments with precision
- Conduct daily safety checks and maintain sanitation standards
- Manage inventory using WMS systems and FIFO protocols
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activities accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
