Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload temperature-sensitive products
- Conduct daily inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Perform preventive maintenance on cooling equipment and storage systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
