Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Inspect products for quality and freshness upon receipt
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate power pallet jacks and material handling equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping/receiving goals
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning procedures in storage areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
