Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage zones
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits and stock rotation following FIFO protocols
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance)
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and temperature monitoring systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing environments (0°F to 32°F)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays during peak seasons
