Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in -10°F to 40°F zones
- Safely unload, palletize, and organize refrigerated shipments using forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Enforce HACCP safety protocols for food handling and storage
- Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks in narrow-aisle configurations
- Coordinate with truck drivers for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Document inventory discrepancies and temperature deviations in digital logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in 30°F environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for safety violations
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours on concrete floors
- Reliable transportation to 24/7 rotating shifts
