Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage facilities and maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F)
- Handle, sort, and organize perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Load/unload shipments with proper temperature monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (refrigerated/freezer conditions)
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
