Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain temperature logs for all refrigerated storage units to ensure product integrity.
- Perform inventory counts and manage stock rotation (FIFO) to prevent spoilage.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with precision.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards and improve workflow efficiency.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures below 35°F) for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
