Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (-20°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems safely
- Inspect and document facility equipment performance daily
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with precision
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Monitor inventory using warehouse management systems
- Participate in deep-cleaning sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Background check and drug screen required
