Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely handle, load, and unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation protocols (HACCP)
- Inventory management and accurate documentation of stock movement
- Collaborate with team to meet daily production and shipping targets
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
