Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature records for refrigerated and frozen zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with safety protocols
- Inspect and document product quality upon receipt and storage
- Coordinate inventory rotation using FIFO principles
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas according to HACCP standards
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments using hydraulic lifts
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in 32°F-0°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
