Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment
- Monitor inventory levels using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive goods with precision
- Document daily temperature logs and equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently in cold environments
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends as needed
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
