Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload perishable products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation in compliance with FIFO protocols
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards for food handling
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners) with proper certification
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements accurately
- Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper techniques
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
