Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO protocols to ensure product freshness
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided) for loading/unloading shipments
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all procedures
- Conduct routine sanitation of equipment and storage areas
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using digital systems
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid Florida driver's license (for facility vehicle operation)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Flexible availability including weekday mornings/afternoons
- Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
