Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage units
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Load/unload shipments while following FIFO inventory protocols
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and facility
- Sanitize storage areas and adhere to HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures 0°F to 40°F (-18°C to 4°C)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
