Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products within warehouse facilities
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels to comply with food safety standards
- Load/unload trucks while adhering to safety protocols and handling procedures
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work in 0-40°F refrigerated environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
