Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation in WMS systems
- Ensure compliance with FDA and OSHA safety protocols
- Monitor temperature/humidity controls and report discrepancies
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas to meet hygiene standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in cold storage, warehouse, or logistics preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends if needed
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
