Responsibilities
- Unload and load refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and maintain temperature/humidity controls in storage zones
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols for perishable inventory
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Document temperature logs and compliance reports
- Collaborate with quality control team on product handling standards
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
