Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and packaging integrity
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Perform preventative maintenance on storage equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain
- Forklift certification or willingness to complete training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
