Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trailers and manage inventory in climate-controlled facilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following strict safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of temperature logs and inventory counts
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas according to HACCP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA compliance guidelines for cold storage environments
- Participate in ongoing safety training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (paid training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred
- No prior cold storage experience required
