Responsibilities
- Safely handle, sort, and store temperature-controlled products in refrigerated facilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following strict safety protocols
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records
- Adhere to HACCP and sanitation standards for food-grade environments
- Load/unload trucks while maintaining product integrity and temperature control
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational goals
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F - 45°F) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for training)
- Willingness to complete paid on-the-job training program
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
