As a Cold Storage Worker, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our supply chain integrity while working in state-of-the-art refrigerated facilities. Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
- Monitor inventory systems and conduct regular quality checks
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and GMP safety protocols
- Sanitize equipment and maintain facility cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
