Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload temperature-sensitive shipments
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols in all handling procedures
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for WMS operation
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
