As a Cold Storage Worker, you will be essential in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport goods within the facility using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and condition before storage.
- Maintain strict adherence to temperature control standards to preserve product quality.
- Perform regular cycle counts and update inventory logs accurately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of goods for shipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (32°F - 40°F).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
