Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload freight trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners and handheld devices to manage inventory levels accurately.
- Cold Chain Integrity: Monitor and document temperatures to ensure product safety and compliance.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to move materials efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in freezer and cooler areas.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments (freezer work) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus (training available).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to pass a background check.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
