Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock and materials.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods while maintaining precise inventory records in our WMS.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets and loads for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and securing of items.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable; on-the-job training available.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
