Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic vision for Nexus Horizon Labs, specifically focusing on emerging technologies projected to dominate the 2026 landscape.
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (e.g., AGI, Spatial Computing, Synthetic Biology) to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Define and communicate a clear 2026 technological roadmap to the executive board and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding engineering, design, and productâto prototype and validate high-impact futuristic solutions.
- Oversee the allocation of R&D resources to maximize ROI on cutting-edge initiatives.
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the technology sector, with a focus on strategic planning or R&D.
- Proven track record of anticipating industry shifts and successfully pivoting organizational strategies.
- Advanced degree (Masterâs or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Deep understanding of the technological landscape projected for 2026, including Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Decentralized Systems.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical audiences.
